Hi, I was inspired to post a blog about marriage because of the sermon that I listened to. So marriage, what is marriage as we all know? is it only about two couple who love each other and decided to be with each other for the rest of their life? Partly yes, but there's something deeper that we should all know. Let me ask you this one question, are you gonna marry someone for example a lady because she's beautiful, rich, kind and etc? or a guy that is handsome, muscular, kind, romantic, rich and etc? if that's what in your mind right now then think again, think of the everyday that you'll be spending with for the rest of your life.
As a Christian, we should also marry a Christian. Why? simple, because you both have the same path in life which is serving God. Let me explain it further, when two person are married, they don't know their path and it's like 2 couple in one boat and while rowing the boat there comes two way, left and right going to different directions what if the guy wants to go left and the girl wants to go right? they have to be together because they're already couple but they can't separate the boat into two. But if the couple is Christian, both will go one way and they are together in going that path. Christian family, why is it important? every family have the head of the family, Mostly father being the head, but what if that father is not good? then what if mother could be the next head and she can't do it also. The head of the Christian family is God, whenever problem arise they surrender themselves to God and they let him be the head. This lessen family quarrels between father and mother also other family members, whoever is wrong in a situation they leave it to the Lord.
A person who love the Lord more than you is someone whom you can trust so don't need to get jealous and someone who can lift you up to God not pull you down is very important. We are human, and human do have mistakes and negatives in life so that's why God is here to help us, and you who is reading this I just have this feeling to tell you that God is calling you, I personally have experience and relationship with God and I can tell you that his love and grace is uncomparable until now because he is faithful. Being a Christian is not only believing that there is God, it is living for Jesus Christ the son of God who saved us. I don't need you to trust me, but trust him because his love never fails.
